Anytime I reboot my machine (very rare), all my explorer windows will show the icons as thumbnails.. so I'll have to go to change the option and set it to details (the way I want it) and apply to all folders.

VERYYYYYYY annoying.. and I can't figure out what the problem is. I DO have FreshUI installed, but I've gone through all the options and can't find where this maybe effecting everything.

Any thoughts? Where is this in the registry?

i'm sure you've tried this, but since you didn't mention it i'll ask anyways..

when you're in explorer hit "tools" then "folder options" then under the "view" tab there should be two buttons... hit the one that says "apply to all folders" (at this point make sure you have your current folder view the way you want it... it should save it as a default.. that always works for me, but i don't have any window manager installed either :hs:

:hs: That's what's frustrating. I'll do that, and if I have to reboot, it goes back to thumbnails.
