I hate to say this...

    but something is messed with my g4 powerbook...

    lately, it has been extreamly sluggish at random times. even with no applications open, it is slow - not all the time, it's completely random.

    I have run MacJanitor and i'm wondering what other things i can do to help it out.

    onyx will do a slightly more thourough job of straigtening out your mac.

    archive and reinstall, run all updates, run disk permissions

    why not just run disk permissions first, then decide a course of action?

    i ran full blown onyX and everything seems to be close to normal....it's still seems a tad slower than normal, but it's deffinately much better so, thanks!
