Shot a Tech swim meet, we have eleventy billion freshmen (ok, like 25), processing pictures sucks.

I basically "have" to tag all the photos because somebody who isn't familiar with the team won't be able to do it themselves (that somebody being the sports information director for swimming).

I should ask for more $$$.

Even I'm having a little trouble tagging because this is the first time I've seen a lot of these guys race.

EDIT: And I was surprised I was able to shoot the entire meet with the 135 f2.

I've reserved a 200mm f1.8 for Nov 16-18 to shoot 2 Vball games, maybe a Fball game, and 3 days of swimming. I'm excited.

Jesus, it's like I tag photos for 10 minutes.... read OT and dick around for 30... tag a few more photos... dick around some more.... ugh.

    Worse than writing a paper.

I can't read all of my assigned stuff straight through. I'll read until I can't tolerate it anymore, come on OT and make like 5 dumb surveys or would OT hit it threads, then go back to studying some more.

It's a lot of work to be done, no good way around it.

Well most of the work involves identifying swimmers (mostly freshmen, about 30 of them) and putting their images into a folder. I had to get the help of another freshmen to identify some of them. People look very different when swimming. Not something I could oursource. I didn't even do any REAL post-processing (just culling and tagging). Of course, because I'm such an amazing photographer, no post-processing was needed as every image was perfect as it came out of the camera. :mamoru:

Looks a little soft. Looks like it focused around the plane of his neck.

Ohh, well in that case, the focus could be dead on, but you'd never know it, because that lens is a piece of shit. I like to say it has zero depth of field at any aperture and any focal length.

I'd know, I used to own it.

Well what I was doing is putting the images into folders, not actually tagging them.

Swimmers swam multiple times each day, so I had to go through the images, find their pictures, look through those images and delete shitty ones, then process the RAW file into their own folder.

I used to work in the sports information office, and I know how they organize their pictures so I went ahead and did it. It would be impossible for them to do it on their own.

Trust me, my work flow was efficient, there was just a shitload of work to be done. I ended the night with 450 photos divided into 55 different folders.

Before I knew her name I'd address her either as "Mauricio's Jailbait Girlfriend", or "Cum Dumpster".... to her face... but it was all in good fun.

It didn't seem to bother her.

I talked dirty to her at work all the time. Probably could have gotten my ass fired everyday.:rofl:
