This may just be a new guy thing..but loading clips/mags drives me nuts. Its impossible to push the ammo down. I keep trying to avoid hitting the back of the round or putting a lot of pressure on it.

How likely is it for the road to go off in your hand while loading the mag?

 how likely is it for a round to go off in your hand?

no fucking chance in hell unless you hit the primer.

just put the ammo in and let it sit, it'll break in the springs. i'd say its next to impossible for a round to go off while loading a mag.

do it while watching tv or something :dunno:

to set it off you need a concentrated quick impulse of energy. you cant provide that with your hand...

meh, I don't mind loading AK or AR mags. double stack rifle mags ftw.

Just do it while watching a movie/tv/the internet.

If I ever have kids, I plan on using them to clean the guns AND load the mags.

Loading 8 into my P220 can be a PITA.

Loading 16 into my XD9 is a piece of cake due to the speedloader.

I find the LULA most useful for unloading magazines on those occasions you need to do it by hand. Otherwise, AK/AR magazines aren't difficult to load without assistance.

Double-stack pistol magazines are easiest to load with the loaders that most manufacturers include. I can load my G17 magazines without them, but it's only been a handful of occasions that I've gotten that 13th round into the G21 magazine without the loader.

But the LULA makes it so much easier to load. A breeze and you save your thumbs.

PS, I hate loading clips though.

Especially when the clips have shit in them so cartridges dont slide easily.:rl:

Taht's what i'm doing right now. :hs:

ive got 50 stripper clips for ak rounds, it makes loading them a breeze. much much better then loading by hand, but then you have to load the stripper clips so...
