trying to get down to ~195 so I have a shot at fighting at 185 ... I was 212 two days ago and was 215 tonight at the gym :squint::wtc:

I know weight fluctuates and blah blah, it's just annoying :o

I know bigger guys weigh more but do you find bigger guys are stronger or is it all relative?

in general, a bigger person will be stronger, but it depends on a lot of factors

    Bigger not taller though right?

Do you feel more confident with jiu jitsu skills? I mean not to be cocky but walking on the street knowing you can handle the situation for you and your loved ones if need be?

yes bigger not taller, but they generally go hand in hand, and fatties are too fat to count

in terms of confidence in day to day situations, i think muay thai > bjj ... personal opinion

Sorry for asking so many questions but why do you think that?

I mean my opinion is that a take down on the street and mounting someone and grounding and pounding certainly helps even if the guy is a better striker? But I dont do BJJ so I wouldnt really know.

yeah.. youd assume correctly. but often the ground is not the best place to be in a real life situation.

that said.. a knife > muay thai
    and a gun > knife

these conversations are a little pointless
