Am I alone in this since there are so many? I absofrickenlutely hate flash sites. How can designers think they need to dictate the user's internet browsing? Are there really so many people out there that are awed by these funky useless flash sites? I hate them. Wait, did I tell you guys that flash sites are fucking useless. /rant. going to bed

A friend of mine has a complete no text or anything flash site...

I'm going to break it to him that he'll never place in search engines.. The person that designed it even used a free script, and used NO meta tags  Pro-fessional!!!!

Fortunately or unfortunately, marketting and the people with the money are the ones that eventually dictate wether a site is flash or not.

Designers, coders all complain about flash, but, there is no negating the fact that EVERY major company in the WORLD has embraced it as a tool with MOST fortune 500 (retail) companies utilizing FULL flash sites as well.

H8 it all you want, there really is no alternative. Like any other tool there are pluses and minuses, minuswale put it in your tool box and charge accordingly when you need too.

Every full flash site I made was at the extreme begging and "know it all" of the client who ended up paying 3 times more than regular price.

Who am I to argue when at the end of the day, the customer is always right.

BTW, most people who complain about full flash sites are developers and programmers.
I rarely receive complaints from my customers customers.

There are thousands of functional, fast and great full flash sites out there. But, for every thousand, there are 10's of thousands that are crap.

That's not "regularly". OT would be a nightmare to browse otherwise.

This is what I would consider regularly.

However, I'd place flex apps in a different category than an fully flash website.
