In the market for a new pistola so I, once again, toss it to my WMD bromatoes. As you can see the only thing that links these pistols in similarity is the caliber: 9mm. My only requirement because RIGHT NOW I see no need to spend the extra cash on .40 or .45 ammo.

I have an XD Tactical with a few go fast goodies. Also, this will be for a second gun purchase. No specific reason but to buy another one but I like customization options. The ones I listed can be modified.

could you be more specific to what you're looking for?

    What do you have already?

  3. If you're set on one of those guns, make it the Springfield 1911.

EDIT: If it's for carry of self defense, get one of the Glocks.

I'd pick one of the Glocks or the CZ.

Looks like he wants a fullsize gun that might used to compete or just throwing bullets down range.

I was kind of in the same situation and decided on the CZ 75 B SA. M&P felt nice but the CZ is all steel and is single action.

Every one of them is a good gun.
To figure out which one to get, go rent them, try them out and get the one that fits your hand and you can shoot comfortably. THAT will be the best one of the list for you.

Done did that this past weekend. Everyone...seriously. Had to borrow a friend's Loaded 1911 since my local don't rent that one. Hence the toss up in here. They all have their plusses and minuses but nothing so severe that make one better than the other to me.

Of course each one of these in their respective carry pieces would be equally as good I'm assuming.

So buy a G17 and put a G34 upper on it? Not incredibly familiar with Glock in's and out's so what would this accomplish? Are they the same frame size?
