Almost just like that one. 700 Bdl in .30-06. The only problem is that the rifle is right handed and I shoot lefty.

My dad loaned his friend money to buy another rifle and got this as payment. I am thinking about putting a different stock on without a comb and putting a cheek piece on there. Just looking for probably a black syn stock. Right now it has a tasco scope on it that needs to be zero'd. I think I am going to change the stock get some surplus ammo and practice practice practice.

I prefer the fiberglass stocks in black/desert tan to wood. Only exception would be milsurp rifles.

it has nothing to do with it not being tactical and everything to do with skip-line checkering, white line spacers, high gloss finish, and a monte carlo comb :hsugh: Get a stock off a CDL, those are a lot better looking

REMINGTON 700 BDL XCR SYN STOCK - $40

REM 700 Long Action BDL Black Synthetic Rifle Stock - $28

It really just depends on the stock, the Titanium models go for $200ish a lot of the time but a regular BDL stock would be rather cheap. The XCRs are supposed to be pretty nice, plus it has the new R3 pad.

Ah just bought a used Remy 700 30-06 last week... wood stock too. I'd prefer it black, but hey I can't be picky on a broke ass budget. Hell I picked up the rifle at a pawn shop for 300 bux

I need to look up the production number to get specifics on it. Anyone do that online?

I have a nice 700ADL 7mm mag syn rifle for sale if you guys know anyone who might want it. CHEAP! $375.00
    PM me for more detail.

P.S. I like the 30-.06 just like it is... wouldn't change a thing. Add a scope and shoot it for the rest of your life!
