A&P i guess wedding photography really isn't all that tough

    you just have to market yourself, have nothing to do on saturdays, and have a camera ... and you don't even need to be that good!

    seriously, some of these are really nice, but for a "best of your shots of 2007"? i'd be pissed if i hired a photog for my wedding and they turned out like some of these. :rolleyes:

    some of those are cool some suck some are awful, I hate when they take shots of just the brides shoe or some shit like I really want to look back 50 years from now and see that :ugh:

    oh I know it does my sisters wedding had several hundred pictures like that :ugh: here photog was some artsy hippy took a million pics of her bouquet, shoes, flowers, etc We specifically told her wedding photographer not to take those nonsense shots, a few is fine but I wanted mostly pics of my family/friends

    the last wedding I did, the bride requested I take detail shots and candids... she didn't care about the ceremony as much as the details.... so I have a bunch of pics of flowers, the rings, the gazebo.....

    there are a couple of extraordinary guys on FM... but overall I'd have to agree with you.

    they were "favs" not "best". what each photographer likes to shoot is very personal and not necessarily the best that they can do. overall i thought that most of them were pretty good and much better than the photos that my cousins $10k 6 man team of pros captured for her wedding day
