and the mighty mouse is a piece of crap mouse...

If you're not carrying around the laptop, 17" is awesome to set on the desk.

If it'll be portable often, you'll get sick of the size.

i cleaned my mighty mouse and its been fine ever since, it takes 10 min to take apart and clean the ball. its really not that big of a deal.

good purchase, although i went with the 15.4"

    You used anything else? :o

Ergo is fucking horrible (flat as a piece of paper), the way it clicks is fucking horrible (the entire mouse "clicks"), the way the ball scroll is horrible, the side squeeze option is horrible as it takes a considerable amount of force.

But if the OP used the mightymose before and like it, who am i to say.

in my photoshop class we use iMacs. i've come to the conclusion that any apple mouse blows.

congrats on the MBP though. i don't know if i want to buy a MBP or if i want to get an apple desktop and keep using my iBook.

I hate my Mighty Mouse. You have to lift your index finger to right-click. I'm used to it now but before I knew that, it drove me nuts. The buttons on the sides are also a bit hard to push.
