I've never seen anything that would do it.

pshh, think big mang. Get a wireless card that has a range of 30,000+ feet and then setup wireless bases every 200 feet or so. That could theoretically work right? :naughty: :wiggle:

i've never been able to get cell service while on a plane. im sure if the plane has the phones in the back of the headrest that they'll also have data ports.

And that completely violates current FAA regulations. If you use a computer on the plane you are not supposed to use any wireless transmissions. Furthermore, cell phones are not allowed to be used on planes at this time.

Frankly its a load of shit, but those are the current regs.

And it took 9 post for someone to say it. They make you turn phones, and electronics during take-off and landing. The frequencies the phones work on interfere with the navigation systems. Ever had your cell phone near your clock radio, or speakers, and it buzzes and makes random noise. Yea thats called interference.

Yea, thats true. But electronics that transmit are not allowed during flight. I use my iPod, or laptop to watch a movie all the time.
