Some of you might have seen the thread where I was trying to sell my D700 bc of a family emergency. Well, long story short, that emergency ended up not happening after all so I got to keep my camera. Then it just so happened I came across a great deal on two new lenses. Yeah they're not pro lenses, which I should have really bought for a top-end camera, but the deal was just too good to pass up.

I paid $600 for the pair and they are in excellent condition. Can't even tell they are used.

Now I just gotta go find stuff to shoot.

Nice. Glad to hear it. I've been trying not to buy the 24-120 vr for so long. I sooo want that to be a good lens but the reviews of it suck so dam bad... so bad that they say even stopped down its not sharp... but $600 for the pair, I wouldn't have walked from that deal either.

You can probably sell the 70-300 for about $500 and the 24-120 for about $400 and get yourself an 80-200 instead.

I've heard a lot of bad things about the 24-120

Yeah looks like brand new they are both going for around $1100 together. I could probably make some money if I marketed them well enough.

Yeah I've been lurking for a while now, putting in my 2 cents here and there. I love taking pictures, I just don't have a lot of subject matter in Lexington. I went to the park yesterday and there were literally no people there and it was a gorgeous day. Just two people playing tennis and I felt like a creeper.
