Thompson Contender, old style with rim fire and center fire firing pins built in to the frame, selected on the hammer. Came with a 7" 44 mag barrel w/nikon 2-4x pistol scope and a 357 mag barrel w/adjustable sights. The price tag is correct. I feel dumb now cause I didn't haggle I just pulled out cash  :ugh:
Ran me $300 OTD, DROS included. Didn't have any pennies in my pocket sorry. I can't start dros till the 31st though due to CA's 30 day rule.

I want one of the muzzleloaders, but I surely don't want to spend $800 on one.

dude, that's a good deal! I love my old style blued frame better than any of the newer ones I've had. Oh, and IMO, those are the best grips ever made for them, even better than the newer pachmayers.

Does that one have a sliding bar for the center-rim fire, or is it a switch on top of the hammer?

It'll be :ugh::wtc: to shoot but :rofl::rofl::rofl: to watch

Check out some JDJ calibers, he makes some neat ones. 375 JDJ is a beast. I'm also a big fan of the 7mm TCU. Will you be using it to hunt or just to shoot?

Most likely just shoot, though the 44 mag may be tried on a pig or two.
