thinking about getting a bike, been on my mind for awhile now and just today i finally put my foot down and am gonna go for it..

there's a week long course here that guarantees a license upon completion so im gonna go that route

now obviously the first question is what type of bike do i get...

i really like the looks of the GSXR but i think 600cc will be a bit too much for a beginners bike...maybe not

so my question is what are some good first bikes not too much power but look sharp, i really dont wanna blow a load of cash on a gsxr then find out i dont really like riding or even worse end up dead

so anyone recommend going with a gsxr for a first bike?

if not whats a good step down

    :hs:

People do it, but it's not too common. Most bikes that are available in CAN are also available in the US.
