I shall call it the cookie monster!
8700 out the door
636's are the shit. but change those yellow monstrosities they call a blinker ASAP.
and those gloves are fuckin' bad ass
congrats on a nice purchase!
'cookie monster"? i hope you're a girl
my gf calls my green 05 636 the "ninja turtle"
I love that blue, there was one for sale here but it sold instantly and i couldn't drop the 8k on a new bike atm
nice scooter man
Nice "Cookie Monster"!....always gotta love the feeling of a new bike
TiMax gloves....you fucking Squid.
What's wrong with my gloves?
bling bling gloves, I personally don't like 'em
Wearing gear makes him a squid?
Ignore Buck-O, he has something to say about absolutely everything.
Icon = Squid Gear.
99.9% of Squids wear at least one piece of Icon gear.
I mean, seriously, what are you...a fucking Wraith trying to steal back "The one ring". Or some sort of moto mounted knight? They are just impraticle, and semi lame gloves. Id rather wear somthing from Joe Rocket, Alpine Star, etc.
Though, i should at least give him credit for not wearing MX gloves. *shudder*
i was looking at that same bike the other day. i might pull the lever and buy it. recommendations on this bike and other comparable 600s
Well, it kinda breaks down like this...
The GSX-R 600 has the power advantage.
The R6 seems to have the handling advantage.
And the Kawai falls somewhere in the middle.
I personally like the Kawi the best out of the Jap 600's just because its different. And doesnt pretend to be anything its not.
If i where to actually buy one though. It would probibly be a tough call between a Triumph 675, or the GSX-R 750, becuase i prefer the torque they produce. If i wanted to be praticle though, id get the Kawi. In black.
Congrats on the new bike man, I'm actually looking at getting a 636 pretty soon also. I'm torn between blue and green though. Dont listen to the fucktard about icon gear, there is absolutly nothing wrong with it.
Except that its Icon gear.
Congrats to them for at least bucking the typical style trends of moto gear. But for fucks sake, dont market it to the squid comunity.
I'd wear all Icon gear over nothing. It's designed to protect/take the blunt of the impact...i'm more concerned about that than the brand name and what other people are wearing it.
Youve obviously never seen someone in Icon gear take a fall then.
Last guy i saw wipe in a pair of Icon pants got back up with 2 pounds of hamburger, and a pair of shorts.
I do like their body armor (provided you dont wear it as advertised int heir catalog), and their helmets are preaty decent from what ive seen and heard so far. THe rest of their gear im not so sure about.
Joe Rocket also fell into that same catagory for me. But alot of their street stuff has greatly improved in quality over the last year or so.
I think I've come to realize my gloves of my wraith are somewhat bulky. I tried on my friends alpinestars GP gloves and they feel so much slimmer around the fingers. I think I might get a pair.
I really like AStars gloves. They can get pricey though. But if you buy in teh middle, you really cant go wrong.
i picked up a really nice pair of A* gloves for $40 but wrecked them in my crash and haven't been able to find the same model in stores since, need to look online
yum! 200 CLAMS ON EBAY!
Nice....GF has the siver with flames...Great bike!
