I think this turned out better than the S2k shoot from two days ago. What do you think? C&C the shit outta it.

Pretty dark on the drivers side.

One more light...down low to light the drivers side front bumper and spill into the wheel area.

I made the mistake of taking a set up picture first. I couldn't get my 2nd trigger to fire after that, so the picture in the original post is actually with just one strobe. You can see the difference in the set up pic - the bumper is lit.

It looks like a lot of the light from the camera left flash is actually lighting the grass/weeds. :eek3:

looks better than your last one, were you using a polarizer? there's a lot of reflections on the car.

Needs more (or no) DOF and less obvious flash.

I like how the side is lit but I don't like the reflections on the hood of the car.

I actually like how this shot. The background focus not so much, the trees closer to the jeep are more in focus the on the ones further way, but other then that the shot came out very nice. Great job. :big grin:

Was it your intention for the car to be out of focus?

stop it down a bit next time, as a lot of the car isnt in focus.

the lighting looks pretty unnatural, but maybe itd look better if the 2nd light had worked.

thats a lot of setup for a pretty blah result..

Try waiting until its a little bit darker, close up the aperture as much as you can and then do some painting with light.

I honestly think you would have gotten a better result from a subtle HDR. :hs:
