I realized I was never going to go 9 for 9 unless I raised my GPP. So I picked up this bad boy and Im getting steel to build a sled in about 2 weeks.

Its about 54in tall, 18in wide and 27 plys thick. I'm not sure how much it weighs because I dont have a scale but I'm guessing between 300-400 judgeing by how difficult it is to flip.

Did you have to pay for it or did somebody just willingly hand it over?

we had some in high school... one was 300, one 400, or was it 4 and 5, i forget, the larger was about 5 feet tall... a handful of us could take care of it, lifted another one i found out in the woods once too, made a good means of transportation down hills :coold:

Tire stores have to pay to dump tires so they willingly gave it to me and help me load it (took me and 2 others to load it, one guy only had one hand on it though).

My parents would have never let me keep it at home but the guys I share the house with let me do pretty much whatever I want in that room and outback as Long as I keep it from looking like a junkyard. Which is why its inside.

I grabbed a crappy scale that was being tossed and weighed it. It spun past 300 ( the max) and stopped on the "70", dented it and cracked the view-plate, so I really have no clue how heavy it is.

As far as a 1100 tire, I would like to be able to flip one of those in the future and I'm on the lookout for a bigger tire then the one I already have.

awesome conditioning bro....I miss my 800 pounder.

try in/out flips for fun next time you toss. Set up in a sumo stance hands inside and flip then set up in a conventional stance hands outside, back and forth....

If you want to know how much it weighs get the numbers off the tire, and go to the manufacturers website and look it up.

I thought about that but right now I am not terribly worried about as it gives me a hell of a workout right now. I will probably get around to it the next time I have very little to do (so after finals in december).
