Well since I finally have my own house, I figured its time to get my own dog.
For as long as I can remember, Ive always wanted a purebred German Shepherd Dog. I finally broke down and paid to get one from a breeder.

Got him from here. The breeder lived right around there. This was taken from a big bridge that was close to his house.

Took him home in the back of my fiance's Jetta.

He did this a lot the first day/night.

Now he does this a lot.

    :h5:

I always encourage people to get their dogs from animal shelters, because of the huge overcrowding issues and crazy number of dogs they have to put to sleep due to lack of available homes, but holy crap that puppah is cute!!!

    awwww puppah awwww...

Cute puppy. Look at the size of those paws!

Our next dog will be from a shelter... hopefully within the next few months.

Cute pics. I like #3 as well.
Where is the location of the bridge that the first pic was taken from?

Agree with the audience, #3 rocks!

Be prepared for him to ruin something in the house, it's nearly inevitable. Cute puppah.

Yeah I know :hs: Luckily, the house is new and Ive never had an apartment so I dont have much furniture! .... :hs: ....

Ive tried to puppy proof as much as I can and I have some Bitter Apple spray to put on stuff he likes to chew on that I dont want him chewing on. I fully expect to lose something though.

I had a german shepard about 10 years ago now. He was the best and smartest dog i've ever been around. Sucker could open doors with his mouth. Just make sure to be really strong with them. If they sense you aren't the alfa male they will walk all over you

Cute doggah. Good luck raising him though, puppies can be very frustrating and time consuming. I had to give my lab puppy away because I didn't have time for him :hs:

His mother and father were both Schutzhund H3 dogs as well as his grandparents on both sides. Even his great grandparents were H3 dogs so he already has the genetics working for him. Only other thing he needs to be a well trained dog is for me to be a well trained handler which Im currently working very hard to learn.
