Im just wondering what you guys think of it...so far it's nice as far as i can tell, especially for 99$

also, what are the best accessories to buy for it? i want a case thats really rugged because i work in sales and i deal with alot of heavy boxes and things at my job, i just need a case that will fully encase and protect this phone because it seems kind of wimpy :hs:

the data plan from Sprint is only $15/mo and I get it credited. Verizon data might not be unlimited so look into that.

i am our blackberry manager at our office.... needless to say when sprint called me asking me to try out a Q I jumped all over it! All my users are on nextel blackberries.... I still have my BB, but I carry my Q instead, I will be porting my account and number from my BB to the Q sometime this week.

I need to get a 2g SD, and a holster to help protect it a little, other than that all I have done is software unlock it and load a buttload of homescreens on it.

Do I need a data plan to sync the Q with outlook calenders and contacts? I don't need email or web just Calender syncs. How does it sync? wireless with Get it now? or with a USB cradle?

i think for a q you pretty much have to have a data plan- i was told it uses data for just about everything, even text messages; may want to check that.

its well worth it though, the wireless sync is awesome, and you can use the data to tether to any pc. i have mine running my slingbox, its awesome

Consider getting the bigger battery. I use the small one, but I have to charge it ever damn day.

I've always kept mine in my pants pocket, no case or anything, and so far I don't have any visible damage to it.

rather than add alot to the size I bought the spek products cases.. $12 for all 3
they fit like a glove and protect the Q without affing any bulk to it.

i have to disagree... i am our BB manager here at work and I have 40 users.. I switched out my 7100i for my Q and I am very happy with it. It does have its quirks but I havent had one BS java unhandled exception error:mamoru:

You can use a 4GB mini SD too. I have one (with Samsung flash) that I bought from a seller on eBay for a total or $32. You just have to make sure it is not a high capacity mini SD, those are not supported.

Has anyone used any sort of GPS solution with their Q? I am looking for a phone that has GPS capabilities, but it needs to run Windows Mobile..

I am also looking at Microsoft Pocket Streets and Trips for the Q, does anyone have any experience with this software on a Q?
