    what should i look for, i want it to be decently fast, or at least moddable. And it should look ok......kinda

    best bet is an older honda, you could probably find a early 90s hatch for that

    if you dont mind FWD, the 80's turbo dodges are really cheap and easy to get moving...shelby daytonas or omni GLH's.... www.turbododge.com / www.thedodgegarage.com (read about his 500 dollar daytona.) But if you want AWD, a first generation DSM is definetly the way to go. the 4g63t is a stong platform and can take a good amount of power stock.

    I just got a 240SX '90, for 1500 but I already put 600 bucks into repairs.

    For the money, an early RX7 is the only car you'll be able to find that I can think of that will fit your requirements and not need a ton of repairs from the start,

    with 1600 dollars, the only thing you should be looking for is something that wont break down on you and gets decent gas milage.

    yeah 1600 wont get you anything decently fast....just look for something reliable/runs lol

    For 1600 you're not going to find ANYTHING remotely fast. I picked up a JDM H22a Accord for $4k.
