never seen anything like that before.
needless to say, i bought 2 gallons. $4.73 a gallon
there is a Union 76 station in Pasadena that sells racing gas at the pump. can't remember if its 100 or 103 oct, its been along time since I was in the area.
notice any difference?
yea this was a 76 as well
i should clarify, i didn't buy the 100 octane for my car
You can buy up to 107 at most tracks
you can get 110 in just about any city in iowa
76 tends to sell 100 octane at stations near race tracks.
at the end of the race season we use race fuel in the lawn mower, and street cars
Its common near tracks up to 110 octane
scooter w/ 15:1 head
must be nice
this was in san jose though... the nearest race track (albeit a pretty famous one) is laguna seca in salinas, about an hour south
i'm supposed to run at least 105. i'm changing out the head on this thing. 105 octane FTL
i had 100 a mile from me, then they replaced it with E85
had 110 by me too, but they took it out
Gasoline at gas stations, you say?
What a marvel of modern technology
the gas city by route 66 raceway has 110 leaded
My car runs great on high octane.
Instead of that though, I typically add some methanol for track days or AutoX's
no dude, its the wonders of capitalism
not if you're running 12:1
i'd blend it 70/30 in my camaro
WRX detonation factory LOVES teh high octane.
Yeah right down the road from the local track they sell that high octane gas.
