It would have been a war if he went up against Hong man Choi. Min Soo Kim was no competition. I want to see what Lesnar is capable of.
For Lesnar's next fight I would like to see something like:
    Lesnar vs. James Thompson
    Lesnar vs. Bob Sapp

I know Lesnar is still with K1, but who knows what will happen with the state of affairs that MMA is in at the moment.

I think he exceeded expectations. I really liked how comfortable and aggressive he was. He has huge hands and his punches looked pretty powerful. It would be interesting to see how he would fight Thompson...maybe he should do that fight before HMC.

I hope they give him enough time to build up his MMA skills before they give him top ten comp.

I thought it was a little hard to tell in that fight. seemed like a mismatch.

I'm just waiting for sherdog to be flooded with "Lesnar with own Fedor" threads!

He did look impressive, even if he was fighting a total can... I believe his k1 contract was only for 1 fight, so he could be fighting anywhere next...

He pretty much said he was waiting for a promoter to step up with money in the post fight interview, lol.

quite frankly I was suprised he stepped up to the plate with actual skills I thought he was going to be another bam bam biggalow or sean ohair. Id like to see him up against a more skilled opponent as well but lets not forget hes still new he still needs 1 or 2 more fights like this before he can fight some one with a big name because he doesnt have that much experience so you cant really expect to see anything like that till he gets more experience.

Shit I dont think he should come play with the big boys till he gets a year in.

    I'm serious.

    Brock's wrestling skills > *

If you ever had a chance to see how fucking amazing on the mat you would understand.

Brock would be a horrible, horrible matchup for a guy like Couture. Basically, Couture is helpless against him, he can't knock him out, can't take him down because of his size, and he won't be able to out wrestle him......

He was better than I expected.

Now for one thing, the guy didn't seem to have nerves, and he went in there and did what he had to do to win, rather than try and win spectacularly, and not getting himself into trouble.

He didn't bumrush the guy, he saw the opportunity for the takedown, he did a cross-face to pull out his trapped right arm, passed the half-guard and then finished.

Sure, he has a hell of a lot more to prove; like Soko, he needs to have his chin tested, and if he can survive in a good submission guy's guard, and if he can survive off his back if someone puts him there. Not to mention, how is his gas tank.

It was his first fight... The guy could be an animal, but it's gonna take time.

Agreed. Soko's opponents, his way of disposing of them and the fact his bread and butter is Judo? :noes: The man is deserving of a bandwagon. Lesnar; not yet. But the potential that was promised is there.

I just heard on Sherdog radio that Lesnar came in at 262 for his fight. He had to be under 265 to be a Heavyweight and fight Min Soo Kim who came in at 255. Really, not THAT much of a weight difference.

the guy wins his 1st pro fight and you were disappointed lmao

guy must be pretty damn bad ass cause in a couple threads i've now seen some crazy and stupid match up requests, 1 guy wants to see Lesnar v Randleman, a different guy wants Lesnar v Coulture

to both of you i say, just kill yourselves, he's had 1 fucking pro fight, are you really this stupid?
