[just kidding, it was only 900 :o]

I only discovered I could do this on thursday afternoon, so this is only my third go at doing this

    [y]ZaahUdyWdGQ[/y]

I just used EOS utility, the lowest interval it can do is 5 seconds unfortunatley
I really want to get a tc-80n3 remote so i can do 2 second intervals

Is there any way I can make the exposure change more gradual?
i only go one stop down but in the video it's quite a big noticeable jump
or should i just fix the exposure and leave it?

Way fucking cool. I'm going to do this this weekend to capture a sunset at the highest point in Southeastern, WI.

How did you compile the images into video?

    thanks

i used quicktime pro (7), then you

then file -> open image sequence

then set the fps and such, and it makes it for you

    pretty awesome man.

how many shots was that? did you sit there the whole time or is that like the view from your window at work or home or something?

what i did was, make the video file in quicktime, export it in 1920px horizontal width

    then, put it into imovie
    crop it to 720p hd
    then export it

since no video sharing websites can do 1080p, 720p is good enough

and if you use imovie, use 'export using quicktime' imovie's compression is horrible :hs:

We'll probably have those with us while we sit and wait.
Then again, I don't drink and drive. Period.

    it was around 1850 photos
at 1 frame every 5 seconds
i think it'd be better at 1 frame every 2 seconds, but my program doesn't let me :hs:

I wish "Quick Preview" would not pop up and freeze up EOS Utility while doing this for me.
