I didn't care for how it felt in mine, next 2 handgun purchases will be .45 USP and 9mm P99 to go with my .40 then I'll slack off on handgun purchases for awhile. I want a .22 handgun but it can wait till I can get a can for it.

.22 is fun with a can, no louder then a pellet gun, good for shooting if you have a small piece of private property to shoot on.

now i can't decide which range to join, the NRA HQ range or the one out a bit farther down the road.

    NRA is $200/yr
    other is $280

    :run:

ugh, NRA jacked rates to $250.

NRA doesn't sell anything to give discounts on, other place gives a 10% discount on everything except guns. NRA is 15 minutes closer. plus NRA has shit hours

i'll be taking CCW classes, so the other one prob will win out :o

I'd love to have a little .22 with a can. I'd be out in my backyard shooting it all the time. I'm sure I'd get caught with it eventually, though :o.

The NRA HQ range is pretty nice, I went for the first time last week. The range officers were pretty cool and it doesn't get smoky like the range I usually frequent (MSAR in Upper Marlboro).

Have you been to the one in Chantilly? I think it's called Blue Ridge or something, I can't remember off the top of my head.

I've still never been to NRA, I hear blue ridge is decent, but I usually go to Shooters Paradise down in woodbridge.

CDNN has USP .45's for $599 with the LEM trigger, you probably won't find one cheaper than that.
