Seems like I've been waiting forever, I ordered it around Jan 25th and it finally came today. The batteries are still charging, but here it is. Ultrafire Cree C2 Q5. I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for yet. It's a little too big to carry and not quite big enough for what I'd like to put on my rifle. So for now it's just an around-the-house/camping/car general purpose light. Finish and fit is ok, the batteries shake a little bit in the housing but it's not loud or very noticable. Nice glass lens, overall high quality feel to it. This is my first halfway decent flashlight so I don't have much to compare it to, but I'll take some beam shots later when it's dark out and the batteries are charged (every room in this apartment has a window.) All I have to compare with is an off-brand 2xAA flashlight and a Rayovac camping light that takes one of those giant batteries.

So without further ado, here's the actual light.

With some every day objects for size comparison.

    And in my hand:

More pics later with beam comparisons. I put in a halfway charged battery and it's pretty bright. :eek3:

The Q5s put out a shitload of light. Pick up a Fenix P2D for in your pocket. I have a P3D which puts out a little more light but is almost twice the size.

Looking forward for some nightshots

Nevermind, I take that back about it being almost twice the size. It's only about an inch and a half bigger.

Wrap some paper around the batteries to eliminate the rattle.

I have big hands. :o 6'5". It takes up a considerable amount of room of my cargo pockets. I'd definitely want a smaller one for carry.

Took some outdoor photos. It's definitely not a thrower, but it can still light up those trees behind the one that's lit up in the photo about ~150 yards away. My favorite thing about this light is it can light up an entire room like it's daylight out. :eek3: My camera doesn't have any manual exposure settings so these really don't do it justice, but here goes anyway...

Does anyone know where replacement reflectors can be bought? I'd like to get a smooth reflector as well for a little more throw and a little less spill. If such a thing exists.

Bump out of nowhere :eek3:. Is that the one that's singled out? That's my front door key, I live in an apartment and there's another main door with another lock.

Whatever, if someone manages to break in and try to harm me or my SO I have a chambered 5.45x39 round with their name on it. I don't have anything worth stealing except maybe the laptop I'm posting this on.

It's an awesome piece , if I shine mine on the ceiling it's almost as bright as any of my ceiling light fixtures.

Maybe what I should have said is it can light up an entire room.
