    Good stuff.

On a side not, my car got broken into last night, and the a-holes took my Kenwood 8019.

Perhaps sone of these newbz that gawk and flame every time I say no eDuh will learn a lesson here.

    XD

How did you get the surround out so clean like that? Is eD really that stingey with the glue? Every sub I'd de-coned was a pain in the ass to get the surround off. I have to cut it then scrape the glued part off with a razor.

Sucks about your sub...sucks even more about your Kenwood.

Yeah, not a fan of Edud. The surround just pealed out. Took about 15 seconds if that. Quality piece from start to finish .
The sub was going to just be used as a floor piece and for size comparison, decided to hook it up and then "pop, buzzzz''.

The kenwood HU being stolen kills me. Second time in 8 months, different locations. Police got prints off the window thanks to the tint film, so there is some hope the thief gets nabbed.

rubber seems to be slightly harder to adhere to teh frame than foam does.. ive peeled several rubber surrounds off of the basket (rf, tc, and now i see ed can be done the same) foam seeems to rip first

old school Alpine Headunits > *

I have a 9855 and I love it. I'm perpetually disappointed by the new shit that comes out from headunit manufacturers, Alpine included.
