Ive had this thing for over two years now and have never had any major problems. Lately it has been acting super slow (like an old pc). It just took me about 3 minutes to open an excel document.

Does anyone have any tips for me? Should I reformat this thing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your HDD might be dying off too. I find it funny when people have tons of apps that they have installed but never use. Try using Onyx first and clean your system before you do any formatting.

How exactally does on reformat? Do I need my original disk? Mine has been really slow as well. Only thing is though I don't have the microsoft office disk anymore.

Mine has been really slow lately, I also was getting the rainbow wheel constantly. I finally found a solution!!!

    DiskWarrior....

I booted DiskWarrior and selected my hard drive and it showed that 31% of my drive was out of order. I had DiskWarrior rebuild it and then it was back to running like a champ.
