    :crying:

I put something in my backpack, and forgot to close it. So when I took it out of the car, the macbook fell out. :wtc: It got nicked up on one of the corners. But so far so good. The only thing im worried about is that if my superdrive fucks up in the future, will apple blame the drop?

Yes apple will blame the drop if it's visual. There was damage to the internal structure of my LCD screen on my iBook and they declared user neglect, despite me taking meticulous care of the machine. At this point the computer was 6 months old and not a single scratch on it. I bitched and made enough of a fuss that they ended up replacing the screen. if your an Apple Care member life is easier. Also when they say they won't do something after the computer is sent off, ask why. When they explain and the words don't make sense, ask for pictures. They will not want to go through this hassel and will do as much as they can to fix the situation for you.
