I don't have a Garage/tent to detail my car in

What do you guys suggest? I am in SOCAL, the only option I see is after 6pm. But then I will need lights to see the paint and make sure I remove everything (will be doing it by hand).

    What I want to do:
    - Wash
    - Clay
    - Polish (to remove swirls)
    - Wax

In that order. Let me know if the order is OK, and if its doable outside or what your recommendation is.

    Thanks

Read the detailing EDU and get yourself some halogen worklights and have at it. :)

How about this one? It's a small box, it's about $35 at walmart

Also, Walmart had a kit of Meguiars (7 products incl. NXT 2.0) for $25 I was tempted as NXT alone is $15.

That's actually a good kit for a beginner. Add a can of Armor All Tire foam and you can do just about everything you need.

I picked that up. Good deal IMO, NXT 2.0, Ultimate QD, and Scratch X are worth more than that! And you get wheel cleaner, tire shine, and some more stuff.

I hate winter. It has been so cold here lately. It is supposed to warm up quite a bit this weekend.
