They require you to be 21 to buy rifle ammo. I wanted to buy 1k rounds of .223 to split with my roommate, but it looks like I can't do that. What's the logic behind refusing to sell to part of your customers for no reason?

In related news, AIM has 1k cases of Wolf .223 for $259.51 shipped to the lower 48.

How do they know you are splitting it with your roommate?

Thats UPS, UPS requires signature on delivery of 21 with any ammo

  5. Really? I don't think I've ever signed for ammo. Once the UPS guy left 2k of 5.56 sitting in my driveway. He didn't even carry it to the door.

The only thing I've had to do for ammo is put an ORM-D sticker on it. No signature required when delivered. I also haven't signed for any of the ammo I've received, before or after I started Midwest PX.

    This.

Signature requirement depends on the dealer. Some people like the extra confirmation for large dollar purchases, or items that they may be held liable for.

Never had to sign for ammo, UPS just leaves it on the door step. I've ordered plenty of ammo from AIM to, no signature ever required.

AIM doesn't require a signature, everytime I've ordered ammo from AIM UPS just leaves it at the door.

CMP ships ammo FedEx and they require an adult signature, but I think that requirement is something the CMP requests and is not FedEx policy.

clean your rifle after shooting and you should be good to go, as far as I know

  19. This sums it up. Wolf is cheap, dirty, and not the most accurate ammo. That said, for plinking it's great.

You could prob just spray out your chamber with brake cleaner and would prob clean most of wolfs ammo issues right up

I have a thing of Break Free Bore Cleaning Foam in my cart at Brownell's, I heard it works well.

  22. I just give the chamber a good going through with a standard AR chamber brush after Wolf. No problems.
