So I'm aware that caffeine has potential metabolism-boosting/fat-loss-aiding properties. I am extremely sensitive to chemicals, including caffeine, and don't want to a) become dependant or b) waste time/money. Goal = fat loss. If I use caffeine, when should I take it, ideally? I don't think I can take more than 400mg/day without becoming jittery. Since I am sensitive to a lot of chemicals/supplements, should I combine the caffeine with anything else? If it does indeed boost my metabolism/aid my fat loss, when I've reached my goal weight and discontinue it's use, will my metabolism see a difference? Will clean maintanence cals and regular workouts be enough alone to keep up the results? Does anyone know of any lasting negative effects of caffeine usage in this manner?
