fucking things are hell on yoru fingers and wrists. I only did 3 sets of 5 with the 25 lbs plate.
I like to do tricep pulldowns by grabbing the cable with my hand (no attachment).
except i only did it with 25 lbs.

i would think they are a pretty inefficient way to work your biceps, as it takes a lot of the focus off your bi's but more on your hands/fingers/wrist. never done them before, but looks interesting...
That's because it is a finger exercise.

its plastic coated cable. with sharp metal at the bottom. assuming you use weight on the machine, your hands will slip and cut into the metal.
My superior grip allows me to pull the weight down without slipping.
I tried this today (part of my middle day in Christophers routine)...25lbs was a little too much for me so I first tried three 5lb plates (not enough) and then went to two 10lb plates. If only my hands were large enough for 3 10lb plates or they made a 20lb plate. The 25lb plate was just a bit too much for my grip strength.
