I deleted the win xp calculator

    anyway to bring it back, I had some spam and was cleaning up some stuff and deleted the calculator that xp has located in

    start>all programs>accessories.

    Anyway to get it back?

    type in calc

    OR

    Right click -> New -> Shortcut
    type in calc

    Have you tried to put it back on through add/remove programs -> Windows Components in control panel?

    Have a friend email you "calc.exe" ... see if that works. Have him zip it though. Your email client may not allow you to get a file with an exe extension.

    I've actually located the prog but it won't return via control panel, I have it copied to my desktoop for now
    how can I get it back into start>accessories?

    Well hard to believe that it didn't work via the control panel but just put it back into C:\WINDOWS\system32 or whatever drive you windows folder is...

    What you have under accessories it's a shortcut so just create one that points to calc.exe
