    I'm cutting:

    1952 cals

    196g - protein
    100g - carb
    68g - fat

my basal cals according to itrainharder.com is 1810 cals
"lifestyle" is lightly active = 543 cals
    activity was about 600 cals

for a total of about 2900 cals

that puts me in a 1000 calorie deficit!!

personally, i think my total calories burned for the day is high. by how much, i dont know.

those are the same stats i had when i started my cut, height and weight. well i was a tad over 170 now i'm a tad below 165. what bf% do you think you're at?

you sound stricter in your diet then i am, at least as far as planning goes. i just make sure to eat 4-5 meals a day and everything i eat is lean. so i wonder if i can just use your daily calorie expendature for my own :)

basal cals are automatically calculated on that site. depending on height/weight/"lifestyle"

IT figured that i burn 1800 cals for 24 hrs I GUESS. then another 500 for my daily activities.

so i guess my maintenance cals are around 2300. SOUNDS about right.

You shouldn't really get your maintenance cals from a calculation. Real life > theory

I am cutting and try to get 2000 a day, but I try to make sure I get at least 250 grams protein. So far I have lost 15 lbs and only a slight dip in leg strength, upper body I am still lifting the same amount as before.

Eat X cals each day during a week, track progress, make changes. Everyone is different so we have to adjust our food intake/training/goals accordingly.

The main way to see if that calculator is accurate is to see whether or not you lose 1lb of body fat every 3-4 days. When I started my cut I was 6'3" 216lb ~20% BF and my maintenance calorie with a high activity level was ~2500.
