    That's a lot of power! I've got a 400 (not AB) and I rarely crank it past the minimum.

    I can't ever settle for 'mediocre'... I thought about AB800s, but I knew I'd want 1600s later on. I'd rather have 1 now and 1 later, but at least I have what I want. :big grin:

    that fucking things weights 20 pounds dude. might not sound that bad but once you're lugging around you're camera + lenses + lights + light stands + light modifiers + that thing...it starts to be a pain in the ass. well worth it though.

    i feel ya, thats why i went white lightning x1600. but the coolness factor of teh X1600 is that you can dial it down to a ab400 when needed
