One week i'll bulk and eat as much as I can and lift everyday....then other weeks I barely eat enough to get 2,000 calories and won't lift. I dont know why I go through these phases all the time but I hate it and I will never get anywhere like this. Is there any suggestions or is anyone else like this? I need something to keep me constantly motivated in achieving my goals. I'm like this with other things as well. :sadwavey:

    Then quit.

Or prove to yourself that you're better than that and go fucking do it.

I actually have the same exact problem. :hs:

Easing into it helps, as well as changing your routine.

i think some people love it and it's just not for some people.

i think most of us love it and want to be in the gym even on off days.

People who need external motivation dont always quit. I am pretty much new at all this and it will be a big change in my life. Sometimes you just need a little push to get yourself into it.

and yeah...a personal trainer would be nice

I used to be that way... Get a workout partner. Setup a schedule that works for you both. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday... All at 8:30 pm or something... Set ground rules like you gotta notify so many hours ahead if you aren't going to go, etc... Will really help you stay on track.

Don't have a partner right now but I'm doing really well. Saturday though I was supposed to go workout at 9am like I usually do but I just couldn't get myself to wake up. Went later that night to make up for it but still, it's terribly easy to just kick back and not do it.

    :)
