    Really I was just hoping that you guys would pitch in and share soem interesting fisheye photos that you've taken or seen floating around the net. :x: :dunno:

    have fun, you won't be getting a "real fisheye" view unless you get a 1Ds or 5D

    fisheye gets boring. 95% of them bore me... like that car one. It doesnt need its features exaggerated, thats for sure.

    use the fisheye as compelling and unusual coverage, not to exaggerate. otherwise the novelty gets old. very fast.

    the fisheye effect generally ends up getting overused till the point it becomes a novelty

    1.6 crop FTL. Ends up looking like a normal wide. Should of went with Nikon and picked up a 10mm fisheye :dunno:

    will a fisheye-extension for a digital camera like sonys dsc-717 give good results?

    also sigma offers a 8mm fisheye if you guys really want an exagerated look. I went with the nikon one because shooting at 2.8 is teh sexy

    Peleng or something like that also offers an 8mm fish... it's not as sharp, but for the $$ it's not a bad option.
