I realize not everyone will agree and that's fine, enjoy whatever you drive or want to drive. For me, though... wow. I love this car. I thought I loved the Lexus... in hindsight it was still a very nice car, handled better, was plenty quick enough to get in trouble, but meh, it didn't have the same level of eccentricity that the GTO has. I didn't pull up to a gas station and have random people coming up to me and complimenting me on my car. I didn't have folks in classic vehicles giving me the thumbs up. I couldn't set off every alarm in the parking garage by simply depressing the accelerator for a moment, and then returning to the still aggressive but relatively quiet idle that I had a moment before. I've driven a lot of vehicles in my time, and there are obviously far nicer cars out there than mine. It's not perfect, but for the $31.5k I spent on it, I don't know of a single vehicle that could make me WANT to go drive as much as this car does. You know those meter lights on the freeway? Those used to be annoying, because you'd have to wait in line, but now they are a treat, merely another chance to accelerate and get that rush again. So yeah. If you're looking for a performance vehicle that is affordable for the common man, check into one. It's well worth what you pay.
