I can't play any streaming videos on my powerbook

Discussion in 'OT Technology' started by seventh circle, Aug 28, 2006.

  1. I have OSX 10.4 and everytime I try to play streaming files from windows all three of my browsers crash (IE, Firefox, and Safari). At first Windows Media Player stopped working. It wouldn't load and in the dock, all that happens is that the WMP icon keeps going up and down and never opens. So I got Flip4Mac and I have the latest version. For a while that worked well but when it updated a few weeks ago it started crashing my browser. Even when I turned off the option to convert streaming audi to quicktime it would still freeze.

something is fucked up then. either a file has been moved or corrupted or something. that computer only knows to do what it is told, and if everything is set back to square 1 and its still giving you problems, then there may be other issues. :sad2:
