I've no idea what the hell the problem is, but for some reason I just can't open folders.

Just a few days ago while I was working on a project I started noticing that I couldn't open my homework or school work folders, I keep getting a pop-up message saying that Explorer is conducting an illegal operation or whatevner they say and makes me shut down the folder. This happens with EVERY single folder. Even if I try to open them differently (using find, or opening Microsoft Word and then opening from there).

Any advice on what to do would help a ton, I hate this shit. Heh

    Thanks.

Try searching the Microsoft Knowledge base at http://support.microsoft.com/search

If that doesn't turn anything up try reinstalling Windows over your current install, without reformating.

run a scan disk or a check disk on your drives.

Download adaware and run it. Sometimes spyware can crash explorer. Especially if you get something called Xuptier (gets installed with kazaa and grokster now).
