ill have 2 of these 12" kendwood subs, they are 8ohm subs and are single voice coil i believe. ill be wiring them by wiring each sub to their own channel (is this my only wiring option?) will i be safe?

i would answer ur question but i always get confused about wiring stuff and dont want to be wrong on you, veo will know though ;)

the real reason for your post is that you reminded me about my stickies, i think im going to combine the informational ones, add some info and make them a lot easier to follow so everything ud need to know is in one place with a table of contents etc

Yep it will work just fine. Wire the two drivers in parallel and you're set.

someone on another forum said to do this....

wire the subs in paralell for a 4 ohm final load

then wire it to the amp at 4 ohm bridged.
