my lats/rear delts are pretty burned from pulldowns superset with rear delt flys

edit: in addition to the typical lat exercises mentioned in the above post

    sounds really good.

i guess i forget and just lump them in with my entire back, i need to do shit individually for them.

personally, i find that form plays a HUGE factor with my lats. If I cheating at the pulls, my lats dont get the burn.
Slow, concentrated and religious form is needed. (at least for me)

one problem I had (and see a lot of) is people using their arms and not their lats on pulls/pulldowns. make sure its your lats your contracting and not your biceps.

try doing pull/chin ups instead of pulldowns. also, try to do them really slow.

    bent over rows and pullups...

Focus on pulling with your elbows, not your hands. Also, using straps isn't a bad idea if your grip sucks but make sure you do grip work on another day to bring it up to speed.

some people equate that with the feeling of getting a good workout. If you're not getting sore up the weights

    Recent find, ala' Matt Rhodes:

Go to the seated cable machine, put the close grip attachment on it, and do the rows standing for high reps. Arch back, and pull with the elbows. Doesn't take much weight to light me up, I have been using higher reps (20) and getting good results.

We call them standing seated cable rows.

I've found that sets around 12 reps light me up on those.

Stand up at the Lat pull down machine or better and more appropriate the machine where u can do the tricep pull downs with the rope attatchment, use the lat pull down bar, stretch your arms out in front of you and bring bar down to your waist keeping your arms and your back straight throught he whole movement. If you focus on your form with this workout , no rocking no arm bending , you will see results fast.

That seems like it might be a bit awkward considering how low some seated row machines are.
