well I now have a battery for my D80 so I finally have a functioning camera again. Just grabbed a nifty fifty of CL, still can't decide what lenses I'm really gonna go with. I ran outside and shot like 5 pics of the marina towers but its fucking cold here already so i went back inside. lol.

800 North Michigan ave... Hyatt building right behind the actual water tower, and right across from the mall and JHC building. I've been saying I need to go visit him since I was there last in 2003. :hs:

I was there x.mas 2003... I love the cold weather, just don't know if I like CHICAGO's cold weather. Might make a trip summer sometime for a few days. I hear July 4th is badass on Lake Michigan.

Summer in Chicago is so , it is worth enduring the winter lol.

I would actually avoid around the 4th. The city is just a fucking zoo, packed with tourists, most people from the city itself try to get the fuck out on the fourth.

Coming from someone who lived 40 minutes from the lake, only in Michigan not Chicago...4th of july is fucking AWESOME. except it literally takes 4 hours to get home because tens of thousands of people come to towns smaller than the tourist count.
