I shot my M40 better than a G23. The M40 made me look like a rockstar.

I've got one. It's nice, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's BETTER than any glock. You can't really compare them, reliability-wise. It's nice for the money, and well-built. That's about it though

Everything else is just your opinion, and this is coming from someone who has long been a champion of the M9 cause.

No gun is better than any other for any person. If you're happy with it, congratulations - you got a quality handgun at a good price. But saying it's "better" than a G19 is just straight ignant dawg.

or me. I really like mine, a little better trigger than my stock G19 I think.

for the first month or so I thought I had yet again pissed 300 bucks away at a gun show because nigga was for its first 100 or 150 rounds a jam-o-matic. like every 10 or 20 rounds a nasty double feed, it did not matter what kind of ammo.

and then the shit just stopped and its now boringly reliable like my glock or sig. all around its a great addition to my clan.

never had a pistola with a break in period before, that shit was traumatic. :noes: I cleaned and lubed it before I shot it as well. I didn't think polymer guns had break in periods, thought this was the realm of mid to high end 1911s and such.

I know what you mean. I don't exactly trust it, though. I don't have a holster for it (carry the glock and others), and my main home defense gun is a 7 round 870. I do keep it at the ready under my bed, but its next to the 870. I reckon I'd have to start some serious shit with some ninja terrorists to really need it after burning through all 13 of my 00 buck (7 in the tube and 6 on a saddle) but its there.

really though what I experienced was clearly no more than the birthing pains of a great weapon emerging. I've had about 600 I think rounds through it since it stopped failing. maybe 60 of those were cheap WWB hollow points, and 10 or so precious gold dots. again no failures since. I will continue to shoot it occasionally and left others try it.

who knows, maybe it just sat on the shelf a little too long.

actually funny story. when it was jamming alot I decided I would use it in an IDPA match (with a borrowed holster), because I thought it would be an awesome way to practice clearing failures while under stress. little did I know when the IDPA match rolled around the gun apparently worked its issues out and it ran flawlessly, and has ever since.

    they are fine guns.
