Stepped on the same scale I've been using since July 2003 and it said 182. My goal was to bulk up and break 180 by the end of October and I'm already there. Yay! Granted, a lot of it is water mass, but it's a great step for me, considering:

    158 lbs: July 2003
    172 lbs: April 2004
    178 lbs: August 2004

When I started in July 2003, I was at 6% bodyfat (9 lbs, yeah, scary). I took the test a few weeks ago and am at 9% . That's not too shabby 20 pounds later. It's too late for math, but I'm guessing I gained some nice muskles since last year.

    /ectomorph

P.S. Any skinnies out there who need some advice, feel free to drop me a line. Know that joining a gym is mandatory!

Hmmm... Well, I've pretty much been stuck at the same, skinny weight my entire life, and I took this picture in like 2001 or 2002 for a self portrait series. It's a good example of my undefined muscles, that became more defined once I joined a gym. It's not work safe and, with as far as I've come, kinda hard to look at. I literally have not looked at this image in 2 years, and it kind of made me go wow.

And here are some recent pictures submitted for that 3 month competition:

I'm still skinny, but I'm actually starting to fill out my clothes more. I tried on some old blue jeans, and they barely fit.

If I didn't eat like 4,000 calories a day and work out nonstop, I'd probably still be like that. Someone said I have lean genes, but that's a bit of an understatement.

You must be short. I've seen pics of you, and you have a nice build and your girlfriend is :yum: ...

I seriously hesitated posting that picture, but I also remember that the original photograph is like 20 x 30 inches and was posted at a college show once. Hope it doesn't follow me around Offtopic now. Eek. (Looking at it again, I like how I have absolutely no triceps, lats, hams or quads in it. I have nothing. I've always eaten a lot of food, but this is a good example of how little progress some people's bodies will get if all they do is knuckle pushups and situps.)

This website I made is a good place to start for ectomorphs. I still need to add some things to it, like a little more into weight training do's and dont's and what to eat. From there I'm going to see how I can add it to Google and maybe get some hits.

Stepped on the scale tonite... One-hundred-and-fucking-eighty-three pounds! I had the biggest grin on my face. I expected the previous night to be a fluke, like maybe I had a lot of water in me or hadn't dumped in awhile or had just eaten something big. But tonite, I hadn't eaten in hours, hadn't had a shake or anything, was basically running on water, and there I was: a pound above 183.

...I'm cutting back at 195 and quiting most all of this at 200, except for maybe some high rep workouts every other day or so and good, average sized meals that meet the calories my size needs. I feel I can't do this much longer without causing longterm health problems.

  25. i guess you haven't seen his pic with his weiner showing through his speedo :o
