Betcha can't guess what it is
Vivitar 35mm P&S
Close. I picked this up today to take to Italy. I decided I didn't want to take my "big" camera/lens. 14.7 megapixals. Shoots RAW. Hot shoe. Manual controls. Now all I have to do is learn how to use this complicated bit of machinery.
Something from your youth?
damn, too slow
aww....no S90 love?
Thought about it but decided to go with the G model. I was going to get a G11 but after reading the reviews, I decided to stick with the 10.
I just bought a G10 too. Love it
Fair enough. I love my S90. great ISO performance for a P&S...full manual control and small ( thats what sold me )
G10 is awesome as well
Nice...I didn't have the heart to spend that much and settled for a super compact SD750 (credit card sized). I'd love one of the G9-11s or of course the S90.
Full manual control plus a hot shoe is what sold me. I just finished shooting some test shots. ISO 100-200 looks pretty good. ISO 800-1600 sucks balls. Way too noisy.
Well, maybe I'm a bit jaded from using my 5DII but the noise is "not good" at 1600 on this little camera.
Test shot at 1600
Why not a micro 4/3 camera?
Why ask why? I found this one on CL and bought it on a whim.
Just curious dawg
return it and get the s90 great ISO performance for a P&S...plus f2
I guess different people have different noise tolerance levels. The shot looks fine to me.
You shoot Canon?
f2-4.9 you mean
^ read above...yes F2. f2 on the wide... when I go on vacation and use my P&S, I'm 80% on the wide side, and crop down later if needed.
