Apple iMac G3 with 128 MB RAM

I used to have an iMac, graphite actually. Looked pretty awesome. Unfourtuanatly, almost a year and a half a go the powerboard exploded. lol. And to get the powerboard replaced would be more expensive than what I payed for it in the first place.

So I finally gave in and got the Apple eMac, an awesome machine. :)

    The powerboard, huh?

Is that like a car's powerband? I'm asking for a bigger powerband for my car for Christmas. Maybe I should ask for a bigger powerboard for my Mac while I'm at it. :)

I think he means the Power Connect Board. :mamoru: Which is actually not really too expensive. Shoulda taken it to an Apple Store near you.

I did take it to an apple store AND a local CompUSA- and a new power board would have costen over $400, and I only payed $400 for the system.

The powerboard is like the....the thing! lol. Hard to explain- it like distrobutes power to the monitor, optical drives, processer/mother boards, etc...

    VBGOD,

My previous Mac was one of the "flavored" iMacs. I cannot recall now whether it was a G2 or a G3, but the other specs you mention here and elsewhere in this thread match it very closely. I hate the PC that they have given me at work and am tempted to set up my old iMac there. :o

    Warm regards,

    Dave

I just ordered some ram for my 333mhz I just bought. As soon as that comes in I'm installing 10.3

Should be fun to mess with for a while

    mactzer,

Young man, are you calling me a liar? :squint:

:wiggle: I am joking. Thank you for the correction! I apologize for the error. It just seemed too old to be a G3.

    Warm regards,

    Dave

take it to the store for that board. if you do it at home discharge the CRT and be careful not to creak the neck of the crt.
