GUN I bought a SAR3 today

    Went to the gunshow, had some cash burning a hole in my pocket and I picked up a SAR3 for $400 otd. Pics coming soon.

    maybe you should have bought a new camera BEFORE the new SAR3 that you are talking about. then you could have posted about it properly

    I took it to the range today, the magizine sucked balls, it would not feed at all, and to top it off the firing pin was striking, but not enough to ignite the primer, so i would not shoot at all. I broke it down cleaned it and still nothing. its my first AK so I'm at a loss.

    The bakelite mag's are actually 5.45's that have been converted for 5.56, reliability on them is questionable, look for some real 5.56 mag's. They'll be a little more pricey then the others but will feed reliably. The Weiger's are pretty good if you can find them anymore.

    The firing pin moving freely? Might have some cosmo in there clogging it up.
