I bought a Civic LX-S 5 speed manual. It is black with the black interior. The car was $16,265 and the OTD price is $17,735 with 3.9% financing.

I was able to get the car for $370 below invoice and $1,790 below MSRP. So I think I got this car for a great deal! The sales man could not believe how low they were selling this car to me for.

I take delivery of the car on Friday!

But congrats......I had a 1990 Honda Accord that I had 240K miles on it when I sold it for $400 (bought it used with 90K for $3600). Honda reliability ftw.

good deal. this related to the other thread with dealing over email instead of walking in? always works best for me.

90's japanese made in japan cars are nothing like the made in the us or made in canada japanese cars now. 90's honda's and toyota were antimatter bomb proof.

    This.

And congrats on your new Honda. My dad bought a 2007 and has had 0 issues with it in the last 2 or so years. Liked it so much my mom got an 08' CRV that they are equally satisfied with.

My family has owned 3 Honda Accords, each with minimal issues. This will be my first Honda, second car overall.

I think the sales man was surprised because this was the first time he ever sold a manual transmission car, and the autos start ~$1k more.
