17 more days until the Army Warrant Officer selection board meets. :x: Then it will be an agonizing week or so until results are posted. Of coures I will be in Vegas starting July 24th helping to pay the lightbill so I won't be able to check until August 1st at the earliest.

Do they announce the selection list immediately or is it a process that takes a few days?

Does the Army or the military for that matter do anything immediately? Well they will take back money you owe them pretty quickly.

I just had dinner with an old neighbor of mine from Bragg. He was an E-6 in the MP Corp and was selected for Aviation Warrant. He's only a WO1 right now (Kiowa @ Carson) but was telling me that he had CW3's that were younger and about half the time in service as him that were his instructors. :ugh:

cant be as bad as the Air Force officer selection board, well it probably could be. First board was 3 weeks late then my second board was like 2 days early and out of nowhere.

for sure, they said if i can get a slot, then they will guarentee me my cw3 so i'm all about that. I'll get alot more hours too, so that will be sweet. i don't even care that i'll be teaching but i'll get to spend alot of time in the air.

Can't imagine that you could possibly spend more time in the air anywhere else than where you are now.
